When is the space expected to open?

The space is expected to open in mid to late 2026. The launch party will be around the same time. The date will become more certain as we move through phases in the timeline. You can also sign up for updates to stay in the loop.

What equipment is included in the studio?

The studio comes standard with a AlphaTheta/Pioneer DJ setup including at least 2 CDJ-3000X players and a DJM-A9 mixer. Additionally, 2 Technics SL-1200MK7 turntables are available for vinyl DJs. Residents and Founding Members have access to 2 extra CDJ-3000X players.

When does billing start for The Resident membership?

You pay $45 at checkout time to lock in this early bird rate for a year. This payment is credited for your first month when we open. Subsequent months will not be billed until the studio opens to members in the Soft Launch phase.

Can I bring a guest?

Yes! Drop-in bookings allow for 1 guest. Residents and Founding Members can bring up to 2 guests per session. For larger groups or filming/production crews, please contact us directly.

What is the refund policy?

Booking cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance will receive a full refund (or booking credit for members). Booking cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable.

All pre-launch purchases are refundable by request up to 24 hours after purchase.

Pre-launch membership fees are held in a dedicated fund. If Open Format Philly does not secure a physical location by September 30th, 2026, you are eligible for a 100% refund.
